Loved from Farm to Bottle: Why Sourcing Matters
Walk down the essential oil aisle in any drug store and you'll see the word 'pure' on almost every bottle. But pure of what? Adulterants? Solvents? Filler oils? The label rarely says.
Here's what we ask of every oil before it earns a spot on our shelf.
Sourced from where it actually grows
Lavender flourishes in the south of France. Eucalyptus belongs to Australia. Frankincense is hand-tapped in Somalia. Each plant has a native climate where its oils develop their truest character — the right elevation, the right soil, the right sun. Sourcing globally is the only honest way to bring you a true single-note oil.
We work directly with farmers — no brokers, no middlemen — so the price stays fair for the grower and for you.
GC/MS tested, every batch
GC/MS stands for gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. It's a laboratory technique that separates an oil into its molecular components, like a fingerprint. We send every batch to an independent third-party lab, and if a batch doesn't match the pure spec, it doesn't make it to the shelf. Period.
Bottled in amber glass
Sunlight is an essential oil's quiet enemy. UV rays break down the delicate volatile compounds that make each oil what it is. That's why we bottle every oil and blend in deep amber glass — it filters out the wavelengths that degrade the oil and keeps it as fresh and potent the day you open it as the day it was bottled.
Hand bottled in the USA
Every bottle is finished in a small commercial kitchen — the same way your grandmother filled jars of preserves. Slow, careful, made with attention.
Why all of this matters to you
When you make a roller blend or a linen spray, you're trusting the oil to do what the label says. We do this work so you don't have to wonder.
